June 2008
With a new story in development, the post production for Turner's War is temporarily on hold until September. The next short film in Oak Tree Films' slate goes in to pre-production with principal photography scheduled for late October in Manchester. Casting for "I Love You" now begins in earnest.
"I Love You" is the touching and poignant tale of DEAN who, after much soul searching - and a nudge from his mum and dad - decides to go on his supposed 'date'. His date is his natural mother; his 'real' mum.
November 2007
The script for I Love You wins a 'Special Consideration' at the Kids First! Film Festival in the States.

With the re-shoots now complete, the final section of post-production is well under way and the end is in sight on Turner's War. Thanks again for all those who helped out that weather driven Sunday.

The screenplay for the short film I Love You is in the running for the "Best Family Screenplay" at the Kids First! Film Festival on October 13th 2007.

Oak Tree Films attended the 60th Cannes International Film Festival with our slate of feature film projects.
We are continuing to look for investment and a co-production partnership for the feature, The Double Cross, and are looking to option the feature film script, Angels in the Snow.

Post-production is in full swing on Oak Tree Films' latest short film, Turner's War, with the film being scheduled to be completed at the end of 2007.
A big thanks to everyone who were and continue to be involved. This includes the entire cast - both principal and extras, who all gave 200% - and those behind the camera, from our amazing profesional crew to the trench diggers (we did indeed design, dig and build our own authentic World War I trench!).

Shot entirely on location in Wansford and at Wold House, East Yorkshire, in October 2006, Turner's War not only brought together talent from all over the country, but from the local area too.
2006:
Oak Tree Films collaborated with Sick Puppy Films on "Snatching Time". This disturbing horror-comedy is currently showing on You Tube.
Snatching Time was shown in the SHORT FILM CORNER at the 59th Cannes International Film Festival in May and was one of the SHORTLISTED 20 FILMS screened in the IMAX CINEMA in London on Halloween night 2005.

Currently on www.tensec.com are two of their 10 second short films. In the Top ten Comedy section, is "Two Men Walk in to a Bar" and "The Butcher's Meat".
